Data-center cooling failures are operational problems, not just sensor anomalies. The cost appears as overheating risk, capacity derating, emergency maintenance, and sometimes unnecessary alarms.

The TightLoop Sentinel cooling demo used a liquid-cooling example for an AI data center and reported a 36.4-minute earlier warning about cooling-loop fouling while keeping false alerts unchanged in the simulation.

The product interpretation is straightforward. A cooling system already has monitoring. Sentinel should sit beside it, watch the same plant data, and convert weak precursor patterns into a more actionable warning.

For a real data-center team, the pilot would replay historical telemetry and maintenance events. Useful metrics would include earlier warning time, false-alarm delta, missed-event reduction, and whether the warning maps to an operational action such as inspection, reserve cooling, or load staging.

This is one of the strongest commercial fits for Sentinel because the forecast-to-action layer is easy to understand: cooling risk becomes an earlier, bounded operational decision.
