Yoga apparel Lululemon, one of the hottest stocks in Corona City, founder Chip Wilson, originally went into the skateboarding, surfing, and snowboard apparel business, then moved on to yoga wear, hit the jackpot, went public with the company, walked down, and declared that the next leisure industry is meditation.
I meditated intensely for 10 years, from my early teens to my early 20s, and I have been studying meditation for more than 10 years since I became a doctor to interpret and diagram the amazing experiences of that time. To truly understand meditation, one must search and connect not only the medical physiology of human beings, but also biology, ecology, history, anthropology, and all the other materials that can be scraped together, so that we can understand little by little the context that comes from the smallest things.
My goal is to instantize meditation. Alternative therapies and, by extension, digital therapeutics.
I think meditation is a practice that originated in India from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age, somewhere between smoking Cannabis (THC, CBD) and consuming ayahuasca (DMT, MAOi) in the Middle East. Until then, priests and shamans would host rituals and use drugs to produce enlightenment, or new perspectives and ideas, in order to break through the immediate problems of tribes or individuals.
Then, with the Iron Age, the use of writing, and empires, the decline of saman, the sense of community, and the use of dangerous drugs, rituals such as meditation and meditation emerged as more personal problem-solving methods, represented by scientists, meditators, and philosophers such as the Pythagoreans and Archimedes in Greece, Buddhas and disciples in India, and the Confessors of the Spring and Autumn Warring States period in China.
Living things are not able to afford to eat and waste energy in useless places. (Running was socially reprehensible in the United States until the ’50s, when the generation of parents who lived through the Great Depression eating and running around uselessly was socially reprehensible, until petroleum energy and internal combustion engine cars became popular.) If meditation has been going on for thousands of years, it is clearly not a waste of energy, but a purpose and methodology for surviving and prospering.
Meditation can have the same purpose as treating PTSD in the U.S. military or treating ADHD in U.S. students.
Meditation follows various methodologies and steps to increase endogenous endocannabinoid receptor agonist anandamide brain/blood levels associated with THC/CBD in Cannabis.
1) Anti-anxiety effect, pain reduction
2) Ventral tegmental area euphorbia with elevated dopamine from nucleus accumbens
3) Elevated DMT associated with ayahuasca due to vascular endothelial cell NO secretion and hypotensive shock through the central nervous system
4) Six months of changes in the dopamine and neurotransmitter systems that connect the prefrontal lobe, amygdala/hippocampus, and limbic system to a close eye on all of these processes, such as concentration, immersion, untiring energy, control, thinking, and uplifted mood.
The difference between meditation and cannabis inhalation
Meditation - Self-control is possible. In the case of habit formation due to elevated dopamine, there is no problem if it is self-development. In particular, through attention (vipassana, mindfulness), the brain system related to attention deficit impulsivity can be drastically changed.
Cannabis - Self-control can be impossible or difficult. The formation of the habit of smoking Cannabis is problematic. ADHD-related brain development of PFC-hippocampus-limbic system is not possible, and there may be loss such as apathy to everything and working memory loss.
Meditation, like Runner’s High, is closely related to anandamide Does that make sense to continuously or continuously administer THC or FAAHi-based drugs that can elevate anandamide?
Just as if there is pain, endorphins, must be secreted and responded to from time to time, and if there is stress, anandamide is secreted and responded.
Rather, if opium or fentanyl is continuously administered externally because endorphins are good, dependence addiction occurs if used for a long time, even in cases of severe pain, if oxytocin is continuously administered to autistic patients to develop social skills, memory impairment occurs, and if drugs that continuously increase anandamide are used to treat neuroses such as pain control or depression, it suffers from abuse or side effects like recreational cannabis, or brain death occurred due to damage to brain cells in FAAHi drug experiments, so endorphins, oxytocin, or anandamide are good things that are not always good and must be used at a specific time and for a specific purpose without destroying the homeostasis of the human body.
Turning a patriarchal and thinking a good idea is not meditation. Meditation seems to be closer to the act of hunter-gatherers running around hunting
